We are excited to announce that we have entered 2 products into the 2022 Clean Beauty Awards. Now in its 7th year, the Clean Beauty Awards celebrates the best performing clean beauty products that are made without harmful ingredients. Last year, over 455 products from all over the world entered the global clean beauty awards program with over 146 green beauty advocates and influencers judging and determining the top products in 25 different categories ranging from face creams and shampoos to body butters, and facial oils. The awards are hosted by CertClean which is North America’s leading certification for safer beauty and personal care products. If you see the cert CLEAN stamp of approval, you can rest assured that the products are safe and non-toxic.
Not only did we make the conscious effort to formulate our products without harmful ingredients, we also formulated our products to deliver effective results. This is the first year Amazonian SkinFood is submitting our products. We entered two products: our Sacha Inchi Face Cream and Superfruit Facial Oil into the 2022 Clean Beauty Awards.
The judges have been testing our products for the last couple of months and this is what two of them had to say about our products.
Sylvia Soo, a clean beauty advocate from Canada tried our Sacha Inchi Face Cream.
“The Sacha Inchi Face Cream is a unique blend of Amazonia’s most nutrient-dense superfood with Sacha Inchi, Cacay oil, Green Coffee Oil, Acai, and Ucuuba Butter.”
On first application, this cream was as described. “Non greasy and fast absorbing.” My face felt very moisturized and pampered, and on absorption - my face felt very matte - quite a unique experience. I feel on its own, this cream might be perfect for those who have oily skin or live in moist climates. I’d love to try this paired with the recommended Superfruit Facial Oil; I have a feeling my face would be on cloud nine!”
