Green Coffee

Originally from Ethiopia, Coffee was introduced in Brazil in the 18th century and developed thanks to the ideal soil and climate for planting, becoming the country's main export product during the 19th century. Green Coffee is simply the coffee bean but before roasting. Green coffee oil, in turn, is extracted from these beans that have not matured. 

Green coffee oil stands out as one of the most effective plant-derived antioxidants in the world for having in its composition chlorogenic acid and tocopherols (better known as vitamin E and also the presence of polyphenols (four times more potent than vitamin C) and three times larger than green tea) and flavonoids, which together become a powerful ally against skin aging, fighting wrinkles and expression lines, furrows around the mouth (mustache Chinese) and skin blemishes. It is also rich in unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic acid, which treats dermatitis and relieves eczema. Fatty acids also promote skin hydration and protection against UV rays. 

The production of this oil is also a great alternative to avoid the total waste of lower quality coffee beans, as we can still extract oil with all the desired nutrients from a green coffee bean that would not be suitable for Coffee production. Getting the finished oil happens through a method called cold pressing followed by filtration. When you use cold-pressed oils, you retain most of their nutrients because of a heat-free and chemical-free manufacturing process.

Due to its high composition of chlorogenic acid, flavonoids, and tocopherol (better known as vitamin E), Green coffee oil is considered one of the most effective plant-derived antioxidants for skincare globally. Green Coffee has four times more potent polyphenols than Vitamin C and three times greater than green tea. These Antioxidants act to combat free radicals, thus preventing premature aging and the formation of wrinkles and blemishes on the skin.
